Viola Jean Berry, “Jean Mason”, 62, of Hamilton, MO passed away Monday, July 30, 2012 at her son’s residence in Breckenridge, MO under the care of her family and Hospice Advantage of Gallatin, MO.
Jean Berry was born in Hampton, Iowa on December 9, 1949 to Jesse Clay McVicker and Charlotte Aileen Rooks McVicker. She graduated High School in Forrest City, IA and received her degree in business from Missouri Western University in St. Joseph, MO.
Jean worked as a Pharmacy Technician at Walmart at Cameron, MO and had received her 5 year pin not long before she became too ill to work. She had also worked for several years at Citizens Bank & Trust in Chillicothe and at Missouri Western Correctional Center in Cameron.
She was a member of The Community of Christ in Hamilton, MO and enjoyed playing the piano and working in the church.
Jean is Survived by her son Bill Mason and wife Shawn of Breckenridge; four grandchildren, Kyle &Ashley Mason and their son Kyler of Breckenridge, Marlois Mason of Breckenridge, Mykah Mason of Gallatin, MO and Sarah Mason of Breckenridge; a brother, Denny McVicker and wife, Vickie; two sisters, Leigh McVicker and Linda Price; 2 nieces; a nephew; 2 great nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 2, 2012 at heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe.
Burial will be at Mooresville Cemetery, Mooresville, MO.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe.
