Virginia Holtzclaw

Virginia Lee Jewell Holtzclaw, 71, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away Saturday, August 10, 2019 at her home.

Virginia was born December 21, 1947, the daughter of Jesse and Margaret Jewell in Chillicothe, Missouri. She attended Chillicothe High school.

She worked serving the public as a waitress, cook and bartender.

Virginia enjoyed fishing, going to the casino and listening to country music. Most of her favorite times were spent with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Bennett; son, Terry Holtzclaw and partner Frank Walker; grandchildren, Trevor Bennett,Travis Bennett, Amy Bennett; great grandchildren, Zalin Bennett, Carver Bennett, Langston Bennett; sister, Betty Asmussen and husband Earl; brother in law, Donald Richard Mason; aunt, Rosemary Funk; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Margaret and Jesse Jewell; siblings, Jessie Jewell, Leona Mason, Linda Moore, Connie Jewell; great nieces, Maggie Ann Marie Daley, Jules Jolee Daley; and great nephew, Jacob Jonas Daley.
