Wayne Dewey Leffler, 72, of Chillicothe MO passed away Monday, January 12, 2015 at Cameron Nursing and Rehabilitation in Cameron MO.
Wayne was born September 17, 1942 in Chillicothe, the son of Alfred Wayne Leffler and Ruby Tharp Leffler. He was a graduate of Chillicothe High School.
He was an electrician and had worked for GE, Custom Radar, Grebe X-Ray Co., and the city of Chillicothe. He was also the owner of Chillicothe Business Emporium.
On July 26, 1964 Wayne married Carolyn Sue Cook in the First Baptist Church in Chillicothe. She preceded him in death on July 10, 2005.
Wayne is survived by his daughter, Nancy Lovelady and husband Jim; son, John Leffler and wife Carla; 5 grandchildren, Titus, Noella, Tavin, Aliya and Tiffany; a sister, Betty Bryant and husband Gerald; nephew, Larry Bryant; Brother-in-law Tom and sister-in-law Carolyn Cook; nephew Bryan Cook; and a niece Donna Kay Douglas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Carolyn.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Heritage Funeral Home.
Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Chillicothe, MO.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 16, 2015 at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe.
