William Beaird

William “Lyle” Beaird, 69, of Independence, Missouri passed away November 22, 2021. Lyle was the second child of Howard and Betty (Dawkins) Beaird. He was born on June 12, 1952.

Lyle was an active member of the Evangelistic Center Church located in Shawnee, Kansas.

Lyle a 1970 graduate of Chillicothe High School, spent his early childhood on a farm near Wheeling, Missouri. After attending classes at Central Missouri State University, Lyle moved to Independence and began a 45-year career with Hallmark Cards. He retired in 2010.

At the time of his passing Lyle was employed by North Star Alliance.

Lyle is survived by two sisters, Linda (Robert) Chittum of Willard, Missouri; Nancy (John) Parks of Chillicothe, Missouri; also, six nieces and nephews, Betsy (Jamie) Buckley of Willard, Missouri; Melissa (Steve) Heil of Stratford, Missouri; Bryan (Angelina) Chittum of Smithville, Missouri; Katie (Robert) Brown of Frisco, Texas; Amy Dodd of Chillicothe, Missouri; and Zach (Emma) Parks of Chillicothe, Missouri.

Memorials in honor of Lyle may be made to Wheeling Cemetery or Evangelistic Center Church and may be mailed to or left at Heritage Funeral Home, 3141 N. Washington, Chillicothe, MO 64601. Online condolences may be left at www.heritage-becausewecare.com

Visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on November 29, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

A Memorial Service will be held at Condominium, November 30, 2021, at 9:00 am. Condominium is located at 333 W. Meyers Blvd, Kansas City, MO.

The funeral service will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on November 30, 2021, at 1:00 p.m.

Burial will take place in Wheeling Cemetery.
