Russell Johnson

Russell Lee Johnson, 78, of Breckenridge, Missouri passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe, Missouri.

Russell was born January 9, 1942 in Breckenridge, Missouri the son of Walter S. and Eliza A. Stillwell Johnson. He was a graduate of Breckenridge High School. Russell married Deborah Ann Barnett December 5, 1992 at the First Assembly Of God Church in Breckenridge, Missouri. He retired from the Missouri Department of transportation and Lowe’s Home Improvement.

Russell was a kind and gentle man who never had a bad word to say about anyone and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a member of the First Assembly Of God Church in Breckenridge, Missouri. He loved woodworking, drag racing and his special time with family.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Johnson; daughters, Chantal Miller (Thad) of Purdin, Missouri; Amber Rider (James) of Sequin, Texas; son, Shawn Murphy (Annie) of Dearborn, Missouri; grandchildren, Brittani Murphy; Alexis Miller; Kaia Miller; Harlow Miller; Liam Rider and Aedan Rider; sisters, Lannella; Helen and Jean.

A visitation will be held Saturday February 1, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Chillicothe, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Chillicothe, Missouri.

Burial will take place at Rosehill Cemetery in Breckenridge, Missouri.
